Love Life

William Jackson Harper has been cast as an unnamed character that “comes out of a years-long relationship with the woman he thought was going to be his person. The rug pulled out from under him, he is plunged back into the search for the romantic fulfillment that he thought he’d already found.” He joins already cast Anna Kendrick.

Peacemaker

Danielle Brooks has been cast as Leota Adebayo. Robert Patrick has been cast as Auggie Smith. Jennifer Holland has been cast as Emilia Harcourt, an NSA agent “who works with A.R.G.U.S. to monitor the Suicide Squad.” Chris Conrad has been cast as Vigilante / Adrian Chase. “Vigilante is a hand-to-hand combatant, a brilliant marksman and a master of the lariat. He was a New York City DA who sought justice in his own way as his alter ego after his wife and kids were killed by mobsters. Vigilante also has the ability to heal quickly and regenerate his body from injuries as serious as stabbings or gunshot wounds.” They join already cast John Cena and Steve Agee. Peacemaker‘s plot synopsis: “the series will explore the origins of the character that Cena will play in the upcoming film, a man who believes in peace at any cost — no matter how many people he has to kill to get it. The series will extend the world that Gunn is creating for ‘The Suicide Squad’ movie.” James Gunn is writing the screenplay for all of the episode and will direct multiple episodes.

Martin Donovan has been cast as Virgil, “a secretive billionaire who recruits Dan for a mysterious restoration project. He presents himself as forthright, friendly and plain-spoken — but he’s clearly hiding a darker agenda.” Matt McGorry has been cast as Mark. “An eccentric trust-fund kid obsessed with his Mystery Signals podcast, Mark is Dan’s best friend. Kathleen Robertson has been cast as Virginia Sawyer, “the Chief of Surgery at New York Trinity. She is fiery, strong-willed, and laser-focused on fast-tracking her daughter’s career, so she has her daughter study under Dr. Finley Briar (Fitz-Henley).” She joins already cast Parisa Fitz-Henley and Michael Ealy. Triage‘s plot synopsis: “Triage is a character-driven medical drama that follows pioneering surgeon Finley Briar (Fitz-Henley) over three distinct decades at the same hospital. With the evolution of medicine as the backdrop, the show explores the interconnected careers, friendships and romances of Finley and her colleagues, and their tenuous relationship with time.” Jon M.
