Game of Thrones Season 4’s has Finished Filming, Octavia Alexandru’s Role Revealed. HBO‘s Game of Thrones: Season 4 has finished its production and filming duties (on November 21, 2013 precisely) and speculation over Octavia Alexandru’s role on the show has ended. Now its up to the people behind the scenes in post-production to edit everything together, add in CGI effects, and make everything resplendent. It has been revealed that Octavia Alexandru will be playing a character. The character comes from A Song of Ice and Fire: A Dance of Dragons. Alexandru will be playing “The Child of the Forest.” This character eventually plays a important role in the narrative of A Dance of Dragons and with a certain character’s plot line. It has been speculated that Alexandru will be playing The Child of the Forest called Leaf. Since that The Child of the Forest is the most important, it makes since that she would be cast and cast first above all the rest.
