McConaughey will be reprising his role as Attorney Jake Brigance from Joel Schumacher‘s A Time to Kill in HBO‘s A Time for Mercy TV mini-series. McConaughey’s team is currently in final negotiations for the actor to step back into the role. No writer or director for the mini-series have been selected. A Time for Mercy is the third book in the Jake Brigance series. The second book is entitled Sycamore Row.
